The doctors and staff at the Winton Health Centre in Bournemouth are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centered healthcare. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services.
Our reception desk allows wheelchair-using patients to communicate directly with reception staff and our large car park area has disabled parking spaces and easy flat access into the building. There are also disabled toilet facilities.

Winton Health Centre Practice Manager's name is Jill Webb, she has more than 30yrs experience of Practice managing, she is dedicated to patient experience. We also have exciting news regarding our Clinicians, we have a new Assistant to Jill, her name is Amanda Grubb, she is highly experience within the NHS. We have two Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP'S) two Practice Nurses, two Health Care Assistants (HCA's) three Pharmacists, and an Musculoskeletal specialist (MSK) attached to our Practice

Bowel Screening awareness month at Winton Health Centre, we have lots of information in reception, please come and help yourself to leaflets and advice packs. Locally the uptake for bowel cancer screening is low so we are working hard to promote the importance of screening.

Improved Access for patients
We are working towards improving access to appointments for our patients, in particular at evenings and weekends. If you would like to be offered one of these appointments, please speak to a member of the team. These appointments may be at a different site e.g. the Urgent Treatment Centre at Bournemouth Hospital.
IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE REGARDING SPECIMENS:
ALL SAMPLES MUST BE IN THE CORRECT SPECIMEN POTS. THE SPECIMEN POTS MUST BE LABELLED WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
FULL NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, DATE AND TIME THE SAMPLE WAS PRODUCED.
PLEASE ONLY BRING IN A SAMPLE IF IT HAS BEEN REQUESTED BY A DOCTOR OR NURSE, SPECIMENS MUST BE HANDED IN BY 11.30AM
