If you are travelling abroad, you may need immunisations and malaria tablets. Please fill out a travel questionnaire either online (see below) or collect a form to complete from reception for each person travelling, specifying dates of travel, countries to be visited etc.
Please remember that travel health is YOUR responsibility.
We require a minimum of 6 weeks notice in order to provide a full service and complete courses of some vaccinations
Please check current travel advice on the NHS Fit for travel website.
Travel Health Notice - January 2019
We are currently experiencing a shortage of nurse appointments and if you are travelling at short notice, we may not be able to provide an appointment. In this case please contact a private clinic: these include Boots at Castlepoint (01202 548139) or Southampton Travel Health Clinic (02380 631922)
We no longer offer the Yellow Fever vaccination. A number of other clinics locally still offer this service, please speak to us if you would like details. Not all travel immunisations are available on the NHS and those that are not will incur a charge. Malaria tablets are not available on the NHS and these will incur both a private prescription charge from the practice and a further charge from the chemist for the tablets.
